How the protected journey works
- 1Consumer scans the protected QR.
- 2Tracetex resolves and checks the identity record.
- 3Consumer sees the basic public DPP and authentication result.
- 4When the contracted claim journey is enabled and production-ready, the consumer may continue into DigiWardrobe claim mode.
Protected identity price
₹6.00 per protected UID
The ₹6 protected-UID price replaces the standard ₹2 UID charge for that item; it is not added on top.
QR verifies the Tracetex identity record and can identify suspicious reuse. A copied static QR cannot, by itself, prove that the physical product is genuine.

UID billing
When an identity becomes billable
A UID becomes billable when it is activated or released for production. A standard Item UID is ₹2; an Enterprise Brand Protection UID is ₹6 instead of the standard charge. Failed generation attempts and drafts are not billed. A controlled reprint of the same identity charges the replacement label only. A newly issued identity charges a new UID fee and, when ordered, a new label fee.
